BEN EDWARD LEDOUX-
Ben E LeDoux, 75, passed away peacefully on January 12, 2022, in his Waimanalo home. He was born on December 19, 1946 in San Miguel. He was raised by his grandparents, Jess and Mary Gallegos. Ben graduated from Robertson High School, Class of 1964. After High School he joined the United Stated Marine Crops on July 29, 1965. During his service time he did two tours during the Vietnam War. He was honorably discharged as a sergeant on July 28, 1969. On February 28, 1970, he married the love of his life Gail (Proctor) LeDoux and they settled on Oahu. He was an x-ray technician at Queen Medical Center from 1970 to 1996 when he retired. He had a collection of hobbies; singing, dancing, playing the ukulele and guitar, drawing, hiking, diving and fishing. He spent a lot of his time volunteering at his grandchildren’s school functions. In addition to his grandparent’s, he was predeceased by his wife, Gail. Surviving in addition to his sister Yolanda (LeDoux) Rodgers of New Mexico, are his daughter Monica (LeDoux) Meyndert and her husband David Meyndert of Texas; along with his granddaughter Brianna LeDoux-Bricker and her fiancé Taylor Siobal with his great grandson Ayden Siobal of Oahu; followed by his grandson Jeffrey Bricker of Texas and his great granddaughter Hazel Woodlief of California; his daughter Tricia (LeDoux) Polus and her husband Jerry Polus of Michigan; his grandson William Lane and his wife Mari Lane and his great grandson Liam Lane of Michigan; his grandson Ben Lane who is stationed in Okinawa for the USMC with his wife Maddison Lane; his sons Joseph and Pierre LeDoux of Oahu. He was also blessed to be survived by his hanai children Bethany Crowell and her husband Edward Crowell along with his hanai grandchildren Alana and Joseph Crowell of Oahu; his other hanai daughter Heather Kruse and his hanai grandchildren Hailey, Jordyn, Zayden and Xyler Kruse of Oahu.
