Please consider donating to the unexpected funeral expenses of Barbara “Maw” Carroll. Please help... We need HELP!!!
She was so loved by so many. Any amount helps offset these expenses for this precious family. During a fine of grief let’s help minimize the worry of these expenses.
Barbara , Best known as "MAW" was transported to Presby Dallas 11/30 late in the evening.. they did emergency surgery the morning of 12/1. She had two broken femurs and her right knee was completely shattered! They did surgery on the left femur to try to rework the hardware on her old knee replacement but due to some complications they only did the left side. . The original plan was to do the left leg and a couple of days later do the right leg. She had a large blood clot on the right leg and several pulmonary embolus. She was anemic and had possibly stomach bleeding many things working against her besides her age. Her blood count was very low so they had to give her blood late 11/30 and typically would gift four units of blood prior to surgery, but because of the congestive heart failure they couldn’t give too many fluids due to the heart and lungs. Maw was the GLUE that held this family together. They were not expecting her to pass away, nor were they financially prepared. During an emergency, near fatal, hip surgery and was paralyzed on the rightsize of her body. She has been living at her daughter’s home in Rockwall because she was paralyzed on the right side of her body and was bedridden, had lost all but about 15% of her communication ability. Maw was unable to feed, bathe, or dress herself so they no choice but to hire a caregiver while Crystal worked a full time job. Andy works for RHS as a SPED teacher and HS Football Coach Crystal has served on Jones PTA as President for 2 years, VP for one year.. Rockwall Council of PTA’s as Vice President one year, and is currently the Vice President on the UYLEY PTA. Andy has managed to coach high school football (district champs) which takes a lot of his time, and Crystal has managed a full time job, taking care of 3 children at home and being her Mom’s number 1 advocate for her Momma all while still making time to serve others. When there is a need in the community, The Molck’s are usually the first ones asking how they can help. It is our time to help ease this financial burden that was unexpected. Please remember ANY AMOUNT helps. Crystal will be doing her Mom’s hair, make up and nails on Friday 12/4 and the balance is due in full at that time.
