Funeral Expenses for Baby Zayn Cha

No parent should outlive their child. But tragically, it happens. On June 15, 2023, our family said "goodbye" to our beautiful, five-month old baby/son/nephew/cousin/grandson, Zayn Cha, who passed away from SIDS after being hospitalized for 4 days. To say that we are shocked is an understatement. No one is ever prepared for something like this.

Zayn was born on January 11, 2023, to my sister, Mesu, and her husband, Jerry--a child they'd been hoping for to complete their family. Zayn was the happiest baby with a plump, dimple-faced smile, cute little butt-chin, and vivacious laugh and scream. He was full of energy, curious beyond his young age, healthy and strong and just so full of life! He enjoyed watching his big brother (Dylan), big sister (Allison) and his many cousins play and wanted to join in on the fun even though physically he hadn't reached certain milestones yet. He brought so much love and joy into our lives during his short time here on earth.

Never imagining that they would experience such an unexpected, devastating loss as this, Zayn's parents, Mesu and Jerry, are completely unprepared for the cost of funeral expenses. Therefore, our families hope that together with our community, we can raise funds to help them. Any donation, no matter how big or small, is greatly appreciated. And even if you cannot give monetarily, we would appreciate your thoughts and prayers, especially in the next few days and weeks as we grieve the loss of a sweet boy whose life and potential we'll never get to see.
