Con extrema tristeza y con el corazón destrozado, la Familia Méndez anuncia el fallecimiento inoportuno de su querido Arnulfo Méndez el 1-25-2021. Era muy conocido y respetado por la comunidad, quien con frecuencia lo conocía como Tatapá.
Originalmente de Abasolo, Oaxaca, México, se mudó a los Estados Unidos en 1983. Fue miembro activo por más de 10 años de la organización COMFIESSA, organización comunitaria que sirve las necesidades de las personas en ambos lados de la frontera. El era muy activo en el servicio a la comunidad, inclusive antes de llegar a este país.
Siempre fue generoso con su tiempo y siempre ponía los intereses de otras personas por encima de los suyos. Si algo faltaba, él lo ponía a veces de su propio bolsillo. Siempre estaba listo para compartir ejemplos basados en su propia experiencia como guía. Siempre fue respetado por los grupos y organizaciones a las cuales perteneció.
Por favor ayuden a la familia Méndez a llegar a la meta para cubrir gastos funerarios. Le agradecemos de antemano por esta ayuda en el momento de gran necesidad.

It is with the heaviest of heart and sorrow that the Mendez Family announces the untimely passing of their beloved Arnulfo Mendez on 1-25-2021. He was well known and extremely respected in the community who often referred to him as Tatapa.
He was originally from Abasolo, Oaxaca, Mexico, having moved to the United States in 1983. He was a long time active member for over 10 years of COMFIESSA, a community organization, which serves the needs of people on both sides of the border. He was very active and involved in Abasolo, prior to coming to the US.
He was always generous with his time and always putting the needs of others ahead of his. His goal was how to keep the community united and if anything was needed, he would reach into his own pocket. He was always ready to share examples of his own experience as a guide. He was a highly respected member of the groups and organizations that he was a part of.
Please help the Mendez Family reach the goal for funeral expenses. We thank each and every one of you for your support in this time of need.
