Funeral expenses for Araceli Cardenas

Hello friends and family – It brings us such heartbreak to have to share this news: on January 7, 2023, Araceli Cardenas, beloved daughter to Maria Padilla Lomeli, mother, sister, prima, tia, and nana passed away following a tragic accident. Araceli was like no other, she was a powerful woman; she was driven, dedicated, funny, and had such a big heart for everyone. She was a hustler and did her best to ensure her family was taken care of. Everyone who knows her knows that she was Sally, "That Girl" and she danced her heart out to that song. She was the life of the party, always had the jokes, and was warm and welcoming to everyone. She would whip up a bomb ass meal in minutes and offer it to anyone.

This life for her was not easy though and she experienced many hardships over the short 49-years she was here with us, none more tragic and difficult to recover from than the loss of two of her children over the last two years. With this third unspeakably devastating loss for our family, we are reaching out to request your help. We want to lay Araceli to rest with dignity and ask for your assistance – every dollar helps. Any contributions you make will go toward funeral expenses and anything left over will be dedicated to the care of her surviving children: Esme, Maya, Jasna, Abel and grandchildren: Izzy, Alecia, Cecilia, Richard, Araya and Rosalie.

We love you, Celi – your wings are now free, your heart is at peace, may you rest easy with your babies, Mary Jane and Richie. We will remember you forever as you live on through each of us every day.
