Funeral Expenses for Poppa Love (Antonio Navarro)

Donation protected
If you listen to Reggae then you’ve more then likely heard the name, Juan Love.
He has been a friend and mentor to so many of us in this music scene. He has dedicated his life to spreading positivity and caring for his family. After a long and extensive journey of endless doctors appointments, check ups, and surgeries, Juan’s father, Antonio Navarro Orozco has passed on Friday, July 31st 2020.
We have come together to ask friends and fans to help donate to Juan’s family during this difficult time because he is not someone who asks for anything.

Juan’s selflessness has touched all of us in some shape or another. Now it is time for us to give back to Juan, so he and his family can lay Mr. Navarro to rest. If you do not have anything to donate you can help by sharing this link and spreading the word! You are so appreciated by Juan and his family.

Antonio Navarro Orozco was born on June 13th, 1955 in Michoacan, Mexico. In 1978 he decided to come to America for the first time seeking work to provide for himself and his family back home. After a few years of going back and forth from working in the USA and heading back to his family, he finally decided it was time to bring his wife Romelia, and two children, Jose and Maria to America where three more children, Juan, Rafael, and Daniel, were born to him along the way.

After working in various citrus fields throughout California and other odd jobs, he eventually found steady work with a Landscaping business and eventually started his own company. Work ethic was always the one thing he pushed to each and everyone one of his children. Navarro Landscape became the foundation on which he would build his dreams upon. Over the years, as more relatives made the journey to CA from Michoacan, they always found their first job and home with Antonio and the Navarros. As his business grew over the years, he encouraged all his children to work alongside him and everyone of his sons has endless memories and stories through all the years in nature mowing lawns and earning money the honest way with him.

He loved to learn and was certified as a mechanic, electrician, and just wanted to learn about many things. He could always be found in the garage or work truck reading how-to books trying to understand as much as he could about anything that caught his interest.

Unfortunately, with time came wear and tear on his body and in his later years, many health risks slowly crept in. He eventually had to retire and fall back to life of appointments and major  health concerns. Diabetes, kidney failure, other health issues slowly took a toll on his body. He fought the good fight for a very long time and although loved ones tried their best to keep him strong and healthy, time eventually caught up with him.

As his children grew, the family grew tremendously in love, as much as in number. 18 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren blessed his life. He was such a loving and funny person. Being silly was something that came to him naturally when around the youngest of the family. He always had jokes to tell and stories to share with everyone.

He will be missed tremendously as the head of the Navarro family. His legacy of hard work lives on in his children and loved ones.

Forever in our hearts.

Antonio Navarro Orozco
