Funeral expenses for local refugee family

We are grieving with a young man's heartbroken parents today.
I work in an Albemarle County high school. One of the refugee families of two of our students lost their oldest son suddenly and tragically last week.
The family borrowed enough money for a payment on the funeral; they were already losing income due to the Covid crisis. They owe thousands of dollars more.
Many of us who know the hardworking and respectful students from school, the loving and devoted parents from the international cooking classes they shared with our community, and many of us who are parents ourselves, want to help this family who is in horrible pain. All we can do is help with their financial need so they can support their other children.
I will arrange for any donations to go to paying the funeral bill.
