In Memory of Aidan
Donation protected
Aidan was a sweet and happy boy who had just completed second grade at Bell Shoals Academy.
While spending time with family over the weekend, Aidan was involved in a devastating ATV accident. Due to the nature of injuries, he was admitted to the Pediatric ICU at TGH in very critical condition. His family has spent the last few days with him at TGH.
After a few days and multiple tests were done, Aidan was declared braindead. Aidan's nature was giving and caring, so to keep his spirit, his family made the beautiful and courageous decision to donate his organs, in order to help others in need. This is a beautiful way to continue the gift of light and love that Aidan shined everyday to those who knew him.
Aidan is survived by his mom, Mandy, and his dad Matt. He also has two young twin brothers, Dylan and Finn. Aidan taught his parents much about loving with grace, and his brothers looked up to him as a hero. The donation of his organs continues his legacy of grace and will show his brothers that he truly is a superhero, rescuing those in need.
While there is nothing that can fix the scars left on Aidan's family during this time, we know that helping to cover the financial burdens of this tragedy can alleviate worries and help the family as they proceed with their grieving. Prayers for everyone involved are coveted and well received, if you are unable to give financially. No amount is too small, and if you find you are able, please consider donating in honor of Aidan.
