Funeral expenses & family support for Matt Stone

Hello, my name is Stephanie Marlow. Tragically, yesterday around 1:45pm, my youngest brother lost his life in a car accident. He was on his way home from work to his son’s birthday party, where his family was awaiting his arrival. In addition to his parents, siblings, cousins, nieces and nephews, friends and family, he leaves behind a wife (Shauntae) who adored him and a 5 year old son (Kayden) who’s world revolved around him.

Matt was a beautiful and brave soul. He served in the United States Marine Corps. for 4 years, before a combat injury honorably ended his military career. He was a highly decorated Sergeant who earned his Purple Heart, among other things. He loved to hunt and fish, and go on adventures with his wife Shauntae and his son Kayden. He loved his family and was always the comedic relief at every family gathering.

He was a wonderful provider, which allowed for his wife to be a stay at home mom to their little boy. Matt was the single source of income for their family, so in the upcoming weeks and months, Shauntae and Kayden will need all of the support they can get. They will receive military benefits, but the paperwork and waiting period are a long process. In the in between, they will need funds to pay bills, groceries, gas, day to day necessities, etc. Some of the funds will also be delegated to any remaining funeral expenses.
