Funeral Costs Dieter Mehdi Kuhlmann
Donation protected
It is with a very heavy heart that I ask for your help with the funeral arrangements of my dear friend Dieter Kuhlmann, and for his grief stricken family. Dieter, originally from
Düsseldorf Germany, was just 48 years old when he died. He was a son, brother and uncle. He was a best friend to me Najibullah Noory and my family, and to my two young children, with whom he played and endlessly showed affection toward. California was his second and chosen home, it was a place he felt was kindred to him, which welcomed him and helped him forge new family bonds and friendships that were very dear to him. In his characteristic way, he not only worked hard but always put everyone’s needs before his own. He was generous to a fault. While he was not a man of great financial means, he was giving with everything he had.
On Oct 1st he left our home, where he lived with us, to go to work. He tragically suffered a massive heart attack and died on the scene. It is difficult to put into words the pain and shock this has caused my family and his. His mother, father and two brothers are desperately trying to come to America as soon as possible to claim his body. They are his only next of kin. His mother is taking care of her disabled son and disabled 12 year old granddaughter. They are paying for passports to be expedited as all of the passports were expired and need to raise funds to cover the cost of funeral and memorial arrangements, and their own cost of travel.
Dieter was a friend to anyone in need. He touched the lives of many, and it is my fondest hope that others will come to this last instance of help for him. Please consider giving what you can.
We miss him and he will forever live in our hearts.
