Funeral expenses and vehicle

Hi, my name is Christina and I'm fundraising for my friend, Tara, and her son. March 8th a drunk driver hit her car going 100 mph. The car had her 6 year old nephew, her mother, and mothers boyfriend in it. The woman that hit them was taken into custody and released the following morning on a PR bond. All three in Tara's car went to the hospital with serious injuries and all had surgeries. Her mother was placed on life support and had 7 surgeries. On Saturday they had to say goodbye to her mother. She passed away after fighting for her life for 2 weeks. The 6 year old is in the hospital for a second surgery and will be there for a while. Her mothers boyfriend that was in the car as well just came home from the rehabilitation center. He will need in-home care for quite some time. This family is now without a mother/grandmother. They are left with serious injuries and medical expenses. They need to plan a funeral. They now have no car or way to get around. This situation is hard all the way around. The driver that hit them passed away a few days after the accident as well and had no insurance. I'm sure that her family is in incredible pain as well right now.
