It is with heavy hearts that we share the sudden and tragic passing of Doug Fields, a loving husband to Jenny and a caring father to Kayla, Kendall, and Alex. His unexpected loss has left his family and friends heartbroken, and we are asking for your support to help them through this difficult time.

Doug spent his life serving others. He was a Paramedic Supervisor for UT Health EMS of Tyler, where he worked for 14 years, providing care and leadership with dedication and compassion. Before that, he spent 23 years with the Salt River Fire Department in Arizona as a firefighter, fire captain, and paramedic, leaving a lasting impact on those he worked alongside.

Even outside of his career, Doug’s heart for service was evident. He volunteered in Texas with Crisis Response Ministries, where he helped victims in crisis and assisted with critical incident stress management and disaster relief efforts.

In addition to his service, Doug had a love for pickleball and was an active member of the Tyler Athletic and Swim Club. He formed deep friendships within the TASC community and was known for his warmth and competitive spirit. Doug was a Christian who loved the Lord, and cultivated deep community and service within Grace Fellowship Church.

As Jenny and the kids begin to navigate life without Doug, they are faced with the overwhelming emotional and financial challenges that come with such a devastating loss. We are raising funds to help ease the burden of immediate expenses and to provide support for the family as they plan for the future.
