On Tuesday, June 10th, Ruben went out night fishing as he often did. When he hadn't returned the next morning, he was reported missing. After a 5-day intensive search, he was found. Ruben's passing has been devastating. To add to the heartbreaking loss is the unexpected expense of funeral costs, as well as the sudden strain of only one income on their household. This has put considerable financial stress on his wife, Amy.

Ruben lived life to the very fullest. He had such a radiant personality and never met a stranger. He loved being surrounded by family and friends. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved to fish and hunt. He spent part of his life as a hunting guide in the mountains of Colorado. He had a passion for racing dirt bikes and just racing in general. He was a talented welder. His creativity shined through in his drawings and things he made.

The one thing he loved more than anything... his family. He was so in love with his wife, Amy. With 3 amazing children, Brianna, Taison, and Corbin, they had created such a beautiful life that Ruben was so proud of.

Ruben was loved by so many. He had the biggest heart and will be missed greatly.
