Funeral Expenses Aasiya Abdul-Wahid
Donation protected
Aasiya Abdul-Wahid was a beautiful spirit with a brilliant smile and sparkling eyes. She was kind-hearted, brave, fiercely loyal, and protective of her family and friends. A gifted athlete with a love of diving and softball, she also enjoyed baking, listening to music, snapping selfies, dancing on the pool deck, playing with her dog, Pretty Baby, and spending time at Emma's camper. She was smart, silly, fun, full of life and promise, yet also deeply sad within.
On Thursday, November 10, 2016, at the age of 15, Aasiya made the decision to end her own life and on Monday, November 14th, she was removed from life support. In honor of her dearest friend, Emma Willcox (beautiful young lady pictured here with Aasiya), her final act of kindness was to give the ultimate gift of life through organ and tissue donation. It is our hope that the beauty and love which resided in Aasiya's body will live on through others.
Aasiya is survived by her parents, siblings, and many loving relatives and friends. During this difficult time, we would like to remove at least one stress for the family to help with the funeral expenses for Aasiya. Please donate if you can, and please continue to keep this family in your thoughts and prayers.
Any funds collected over & above this amount that don't need to be applied to the funeral expenses will be used as deemed necessary by the family.
