JOSEPH M. "Dutch” JAKIMOWICZ 

Feb. 15,2022 at the age of 77, passed
away unexpectedly in his Bristol Twp home. Jay is survived by his children
Kellyann (Robert Sr.) Hopkins, Joseph A (Patricia), Anthony, and step
father of Michael Carey, and the late Shannon (Nick) Valotta. And many
grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his parents Theresa and
Michael and his wife Donna (nee Welsh).
Jay was born on November 15, 1945 in Philadelphia, PA and graduated from
Edison HS. Jay married Donna Welsh in 1989. They connected through mutual
friends and lived a beautiful life together. Prior to Donna, he was married to
Barbara Springer, whom he shares three children with. Jay was a die hard
Philadelphia sports fan and enjoyed spending this Sundays with his family
watching the eagles. Jay was known to always lighten up a room with his loud
voice and infectious laugh. He was a retired correctional officer and proud US
Army Veteran.
