Funeral Expense for Raymond Tarbox
Hello, On March 12th Raymond (Ray) Tarbox Jr. lost his life in a Officer Involved Shooting in Valdosta, Georgia. I'm sure many of you already have heard this but for the ones that may not have and are seeing this on Facebook, I am so sorry.
Ray had been dealing with Mental Health Issues for many years, changing who he was from a child to growing up to a man of sadness and heartbreak, dealing with anxiety/ depression. This stuff is real, it consumes our well being as well as heart, mind and soul , I find myself always saying to myself, why can't new programs come to help these people, we need the help for situations like this one. Although one may look well on the outside but that does not mean they are on the inside. A lot of people go through life day after day of not feeling well. I always say, be kind to people you may meet because not one of us truly understand what that person standing next to us with a smile on their face may be struggling with on the inside .
What we all should do is take a step back and enjoy the memories of Ray. Memories came right away of the happy sweet boy he was and watching kirk and him playing
The time years ago when life was so different . Cherish the good place the negative off to the side while his family grieves the death of their Dad, Son, Brother, Uncle, Cousins and friends.
The one thing Ray never swayed from was the love for his children, Raymond, Kealee, Kirsten, Carson, Rieley. There have been many conversations as well as posts he put on facebook about his children. Ray had loved many but his children first and he loved his sisters Missy, Lisa, and Raylene and family and friends as well. Ray, I hope you have finally found peace. Rest easy.
Any money raised will be going towards the body getting prepared for viewing, cremation services, transporting the remains back to Ray's hometown in Washburn, Maine, the headstone, grave side services that will be held on July 17th, and any money left over will go to Ray's 5 children. Everything donated is greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advanced and please keep his family in your prayers at the time of great sorrow.

NO ONE KNEW
No one knew the torment
that you were going through;
We only kept on seeing
What we really wanted to.
We saw the outward smile,
but not your inner pain;
We never really dreamt,
That you would never smile again.
Forgive us if we failed to see,
What we could do to aid;
Or if we failed to comprehend,
How much you were afraid.
We pray your mental anguish,
Will now forever cease;
And that your deep anxieties,
Will be replaced by peace.
We know your pain invaded,
Every single thought you had;
It made you cry internally,
And deeply, deeply sad.
But we in turn remember,
The good times, not the bad;
We remember when you smiled at us,
And not when you were sad.
So when we think about your life,
We won’t dwell upon its close;
We’ll remember all the good times,
And forget about life’s blows.
We’ll remember all the happiness,
The joy and not the tears;
The assurance and the confidence,
And not irrational fears.
Our lives have all been better,
Because you have been there;
So now we leave your memory,
In God’s all-loving care.
