Funeral Expense for Jesus Delacerda

As most of you might know, our father Jesus Delacerda passed away due to complications from COVID-19. He fought it hard, but his heart finally gave out a day after his 69th birthday. His death has hit us all pretty hard, he will be missed dearly. We decided to put this Gofundme up to help offset the cost of his funeral. We understand that not everyone can contribute to this, and how hard things are right now. Any amount helps, and all of it will be put toward his burial and other expenses.

Our father was born in Mexico and immigrated to Texas at an early age. He was a renaissance man and had many jobs . He was a musician, taxi driver, paramedic, bus driver, personal security, and driver for former Governor Connally. He started in the limousine business in the late 70.s early 80.s. Driving one of the first super stretch limousines in Houston and countless others that were a first for the Houston area. His attention to detail, dedication to his craft, and overall personality made him one of the most requested drivers for many celebrities, and dignitaries coming to Houston. The list of people he has worked with could fill a book. His stories were legendary, including one time David Hasselhoff took his limo for a joy ride. The one thing my father was known for the most, his love of family and friends. He would also give you the shirt off his back if it helped, he was always willing to lend a hand. The world lost a great man.
