On Saturday, May 15, 2021 we lost Devin to a tragic accident.
Not only does he leave behind his family, numerous friends and clients but our little family that we created.
Our little girl Melanie, who was his biggest joy and is the perfect little person to actually be a kid with. With whom I loved sooo much to see will be terribly missed. Devin had an infectious laugh and such a BIG heart that led him to drop anything at anytime to help anyone. He was “Mr. Take It Apart and Fix It”, a Ford Fanatic and a lover of all things fast, a crawfish connoisseur, but most importantly an amazing father, a loving companion, a great son, brother and a friend.
To the people who do not know our story he was my high school sweet heart. We were expecting a little girl at the end of our senior year which we were blessed with on July 31, 2014. Just like every relationship we had our ups and downs...but those 6 years were the best years just because we had Melanie to remind us of the true meaning of love. Our little girl is literally the sweetest thing, who you’d wonder, how did God create such a beautiful heart. He loved our little girl more than anything and I will forever miss seeing them hug and hearing them say I love you to each other.
He touched so many lives in so many different ways and I have been blessed with having him in my life for the past 13 years and hope everyone remembers how truly great he was.
A lot of our family and friends have asked how they can help. I’m creating this GoFundMe to help relieve hardship caused by this unexpected loss. All donations will be used to ease the financial burden, assisting with funeral expenses, to set up a fund for our sweet girl Melanie, for her future to help us get through this unimaginable time.
We are all strong in our Faith and acknowledge time heals but also know that with support from family and friends can make this whole situation a little bit easier. We cannot express enough gratitude for all the love & support that has been offered these past couple of days and that we will see in the in the coming weeks, months and years.
We truly appreciate it with all of our hearts.
