FUNERAL EXPENSE AND FAMILY SUPPORT FOR MICHAEL SHIPLEY
Donation protected
Dear Family and Friends,
On Christmas Eve, I lost my beloved son Michael Shipley to a sudden and massive heart attack. He died in my arms and the arms of his wife. One minute we were talking about his jeep; in the next minute, he grabbed his chest and fell forward, dying within minutes. He was 52 years old.
I was so proud of the man he had become. He was the sole provider for his wife, Kimberly Shipley, and their 8-year-old son, Kaleb. Michael was a proud veteran of the Army National Guard. He worked for 101 Mobility and traveled throughout the Kentucky/Tennessee area installing ramps and chair lifts, as well as repairing wheelchairs for veterans. He loved his job and helping the people he met along the way.
Michael had no life insurance, and the unexpected costs of a funeral are overwhelming. His family is faced with the cost of a sudden funeral and with determining how they will survive financially. Our goal is to raise $20,000.00 to cover the funeral, burial, and three months of living expenses for Kim and Kaleb. Please consider donating if you are able to do so. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to this fund to defray these final costs. We are so very grateful for any donation that can assist us in reaching our goal.
