Funeral donations for Bobby Yazzie
On behalf of the Yazzie-Kescoli family. With a heavy heart, I would like to share the news that on Saturday, November 28, 2020, Covid-19 took our beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, nephew, father in-law and good friend Bobby Yazzie, “Pobby” from us in Phoenix, AZ. After battling for 2 and 1/2 weeks, Bobby took an unexpected turn and had complications, which he fought the battle with Covid-19 until the very end. At the age of 73, God called our “Pobby” to Heaven where he was reunited with his beloved wife, the late Ruby Moody-Yazzie and his parents. He is survived by his 10 younger brothers and sisters, Tom, Earl, Eleanor, Theresa, Ruby, Helena, Calvin, Kee Jr., Roger and Laverne; his children, Velda, Vermel, Verdell and Verlaine Yazzie-Kescoli; 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Bobby was very loving father and grandfather. He was a retired coal miner and enjoyed being accompanied by his children, grandchildren and his best friend “Laker”(Verlaine’s dog). The community knew him as his children and grandchildren’s #1 sports fan.
We want to remember Bobby for his kind heart, always willing to lend a helping hand and cheerful spirit. He would always greet you with a smile. He was so full of life and never gave up. All his hard work has inspired us to keep pushing forward, just the way he was during his life.
We are asking for your support during this challenging time for our family. We know these times are difficult, but any help will be greatly appreciated.
