Cause 1: Funeral Support for a Beloved Brother

In late July, an immigrant family suffered a heartbreaking loss. A beloved brother was found unresponsive on the bathroom floor and tragically passed away. The cause of death is still unknown, and his body remains at the morgue.

Only he and his brother were in the U.S. Now, his sibling is alone, grieving, and urgently in need of support for funeral arrangements, transportation of remains, and personal living expenses. This is a time-sensitive and emotional emergency, and we hope to ease the burden through collective care.

Cause 2: Extra Cushion for a Family After ICE Detention

Another local family recently faced the terrifying experience of having a loved one wrongfully detained by ICE. With family support, they were able to cover legal fees and immediate needs, but they are still recovering from the financial strain. An extra cushion will help them stabilize in the coming weeks and give them room to breathe as they rebuild.
