Funeral costs, medical bills, and much more

Hi. My name is Sarah. I am asking for donations for this beautiful family that treated me as their own.

Dena came down with what we thought was a cold late last week. By Friday morning she was rushed to St. Peter ER, where we found out that her lungs were battling a severe infection, pneumonia and a possible blockage. She was sedated and placed on a Ventilator. By 5:30pm family was at Abbott NorthWestern Hospital, and they were met by hospital staff who told them that she was very ill. Family stayed with her until they were told they had to go.

Feb. 11th- family woke up to a phone call saying they needed to get to the hospital as soon as they could.

Her left lung collapsed overnight and had a tube inserted. They started her on dialysis this afternoon to help clean her blood, as her lung infection / pneumonia spread to her blood. They also found a mass in her lung causing a blockage, and what was believed to be cancer, but we never made it to the point of being stable enough to test. As the day went on, we learned that her body couldn’t fight against the infection, and her family spent the day spending time with her, loving her, and soaking in each minute.

I am asking for so many prayers for strength for this family. Any and all donations will be so helpful for them to cover all of these unexpected and sudden costs.

Visitation Services will be held on Thursday, February 16 from 3pm-7pm at Le Center Funeral Home in Le Center.
