Funeral Costs for Troy Lucas
Donation protected

Troy Lucas touched the lives of so many people. His love of drawing, infectious laugh, and kind nature, drew people to him. He adored his iPad, his baby brother and his mom. Troy was patient, polite, and silly. There are not enough words to describe his caring and sweet nature. As a toddler, Troy was diagnosed with Autism and other sensory disorders.
On July 20, 2020, Troy tragically passed away in a drowning accident. At just twelve years old, his life ended.
Right now, Troy's family is in shock. No one plans to pay for the funeral of a twelve-year-old boy. Currently, Troy is at O'Donnell-Cookson funeral home in Quincy, Illinois as his family prepares to say good-bye to him.
His mom, Selena, gave him an incredible life. She worked hard to ensure he received the best services. She advocated for him at school, and took him to hours of supportive services after the school day ended. Selena packed a lunch for him almost every day. She always cut the crusts off his sandwiches, and sent his favorite foods.
Selena deserves to say good-bye to her son without worrying about an astronomical funeral bill. If you can donate, please do. It won't bring Troy back, but it will help us honor his memory.
Any money donated will be sent directly to the funeral home to cover expenses. Any additional money will be used for a memorial for him.
Thank you.
