Funeral costs for Tom Hoos

On the behalf of my mother Teresa Hoos, I am creating a gofundme to help pay for part of my father Tom Hoos funeral and burial expenses and headstone.

My dad passed away August 20th from heart and organ failure due to Covid19. 

While, much of the funeral has been paid for, there is still some that we can't cover. My dad was the bread winner and hasn't worked in weeks to pay for upcoming bills either and my mom is going through their savings just to keep up. There are also other needs: car maintenance and things need to be fixed around the house that he never was able to get to.

For those who knew my Dad, know he was all about his family. Especially his boys. All six of them. He was an amazing "Poppy" to them. He loved small talk and could talk for hours about anything. He could make anyone smile and laugh, especially when someone was sad. He never let my mom, myself, and these boys go without. If someone needed help he was the first to lend a hand and would drop whatever he was doing to help someone. Many of you know this. 

Unfortunately, he didn't have life insurance and none of us expected what has happened. With any money that is left over after paying off the rest of his final expenses the rest will go towards fixing things that my mom cant.
