Our mother, Theresa Sales, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 12th, 2023. Mom was the type of person who would give to anyone who was in need, even if she had nothing to give. She was incredibly faithful to those who were close to her and was always trying to get other people around her to smile.

Mom's life was not always easy, and she struggled through many ups and downs, but one thing she was very proud of was her work to overcome her addiction. She was ecstatic to have been able to attend both of our weddings and gain two wonderful daughters, and one 15-month-old grandson, Wesley.

The pain of losing our mother is immense, but we find comfort in knowing that her pain is gone. The struggles she faced won't be returning, and we are both thankful to God that she has been set free from her bondage.

Mom did not have the financial assets to pay for a funeral, so that is why we are here asking for your help. Any amount that you feel led to donate is appreciated more than you can imagine, and we are incredibly thankful.

Mom's service will be held at Caywood's Funeral Home & Gardens 1126 Broadway, Elmira, NY 14904. Date of service is Friday, April 21st.

Visiting hours are from 11 am to 12 pm, with service beginning at 12:15 pm and a committal service to follow.
