Funeral Costs for Steven Rathburn

My name is Kim, and I'm raising money to give my brother, Steven Rathburn, a proper burial as he suddenly passed away in his sleep in the early morning of September 17, 2022.

Our parents and I moved to the Yukon in 1973 when our Mom was pregnant with Steve so my Dad could work for WhitePass. My brother was a born and bred Yukoner. He was 48 years of age, just shy of his 49th birthday on September 24.

Steve was a super easygoing guy who would do anything for those in his circle, especially his daughter, Alyssa. He was a caring, selfless, thoughtful, wildly artistic and imaginative person. He had a gentle charisma and was really, truly a good guy.

In the last few years, Steve struggled with some serious health problems. He never wanted to be a burden or bother to anyone; however, his health continued to decline, and he could not generate an independent income.

Steve did not have a financial plan for such an event. It is a relatively sizeable unexpected expense, and his family is looking to offset the costs for a respectful send-off and memorial for his remaining family and friends.
