Funeral Costs for Rosa Hernandez

Almost 3 years ago my mother was diagnosed with uterine cancer (stage 4). After surgeries, endless chemotherapies and experimental medical treatments, her body finally started deteriorating. She never stopped praying for a cure. My mother stayed positive and emotionally strong throughtout this battle. At the beginning of the year 1/4/17 doctors said, there was nothing else they could do for her and recommended hospices. My dad and I became her caregivers while she received hospice care in the comfort of our home. She was comfortable there. She loved hearing her grandchildren running around, laughing and singing. She no longer had to go to doctor appointments or pharmacy to fill up medications. Evergreen Hospice brought everything to her. On Wednesday 4/12/17 afternoon she requested a chaplain who came to see her she began to have trouble breathing and a nurse also came to see her.
My mom no longer wanted to lay on her bed.
She sat with my dad and my sister side by side. A few minutes later 10:20PM she fell a sleep and then she stopped breathing. It broke our hearts to see her go. We cried we screamed but we also knew that she was at peace now. Although she is no longer with us, her memory will always be in our hearts. We will forever remember her as one strong courages and caring women. The best wife, mother and grandmother. The greatest friend. We love you MOM.
