In Loving Memory of Robert Batchelor ( Batchee )

It is with deep sadness and heavy hearts that we share the heartbreaking news that our beloved partner, friend, and colleague has passed away after a sudden and aggressive battle with cancer. The illness progressed so quickly that there was no time to prepare—emotionally, practically, or financially.

Rob lived a colourful and complex life, facing many struggles, including with mental health. Despite everything, we found each other and built a life together filled with love, understanding, and hope. To lose him so suddenly has shattered our little family and left us grieving with unimaginable pain.

We now find ourselves in the incredibly difficult position of needing help to give him the farewell he deserves. Unfortunately, due to circumstances beyond our control, we are not entitled to any financial support for funeral costs—simply because we were not living together at the time.

Asking for help does not come easy to us, but we are reaching out with humility and hope. Any support you can offer—no matter how small—will go directly toward covering the funeral expenses and allowing us to say goodbye with dignity and love.
