On May 27th 2019, Memorial Day, my son was taken before his time due to homophobic and transphobic violence. It was left quiet. The police did not inform the family and we found out through Facebook. The police will not allow me to view my son's body, and I only got some of my son's possessions.

Today we went to the funeral home, and we need assistance with the costs for Otis's memorial.

This is unexpected and we are unprepared. Anything helps, including prayers.
