Funeral Costs for my Hero, my Father Doyé.

My name is Zoë & I still can’t believe this is not a nightmare.

My father Doyé tragically passed away on Wednesday 22nd December 2021 & I have decided to make this GoFundMe in an attempt to raise some funds for his funeral. I am his only child and, being 23 years old and saving for my own future through a pandemic, I am clearly not in the best position to deal with everything myself. My wonderful mother is staying strong for me & sorting out all the difficult details that I can’t even begin to get my head around. My beautiful family are also still processing this news so I want to help take some of the pressure off of them by doing this.

My dadda Doyé was well loved - I am quickly realising he knew almost everyone on this planet - and I am overwhelmed with all the special messages and stories his friends & acquaintances have been sharing with me. As a proud Nigerian man, I know he always aimed to look after those he loved and provide for them in any way he could - therefore, I hope to give back to him and show him how much we all appreciated his efforts.
