Today (January 7th), at 33 years of age, our dear brother, son and beloved friend passed away from liver failure due to habitual drinking. A lot of his life was wasted to this addiction that he often battled. A lot of our time we could have spent with him was lost. Within the past months his health has been deteriorating and has drastically worsened this past week. At the hospital the doctor said his liver failed and is beyond repair. Less than 2 days at the hospital and he passed away. During this month while he lie in bed he asked for God's forgiveness and mercy. The last two hours at the hospital I continued to sing hymns to him, read God's word, remind him of the gospel and pray over him. Then he peacefully breathed his last breath and died.
