Funeral costs for Mateusz Burnatowski

Mateusz Burnatowski (9/24/1991- 7/5/2019) was our beloved brother. He left this world unexpectedly at the age of 27, leaving us with the biggest pain in our hearts one can possibly imagine.
Coming to Chicago to follow his American Dream, he became a great friend to many. He was a joyful, young man, who was full of life and great plans for the future. He was valued as a friend and a hard worker. He was always willing to help whenever someone needed him.
Even though we are struggling today to understand why all of this has happened and why he was taken from us so suddenly, we hope to give him a farewell he deserves.
We are planning on taking his remains back to Poland, where he will be laid to rest in the place where he began his short journey. But before we do so, we would like to organize a wake here, in Chicago, to give a chance to all of his friends to say their last goodbyes.
Unfortunately, the costs of all of that greatly surpass our current financial ability. This is why we kindly and humbly ask you to help us cover these expenses by donating on this website.
We will keep everyone posted in terms of the arrangements as soon as we know more.

Byl mlodym, wesolym, pelnym pasji do zycia czlowiekiem. Byl uwielbianym przez wielu przyjacielem i cenionym pracownikiem.
Choc ciezko nam jest dzis zrozumiec dlaczego tak sie stalo, chcielibysmy pozegnac sie z nim w godny sposob, na jaki zasluguje. Pogrzeb zorganizowany bedzie w Posce, gdzie sie wychowal. Chcielibysmy takze zorganizowac czuwanie w Chicago, gdzie kazdy z przyjaciol mialby mozliwosc pozegnania sie z nim po raz ostatni.
Niestety, koszta zwiazane z pogrzebem i uroczystosciami pozegnalnymi przekraczaja nasze mozliwosci finansowe. Wobec czego prosimy Was o wsparcie finansowe. Kazda donacja bardzo nam pomoze.
