Our good friend Belkis Alfonso lost her mother today. She had been suffering with Alzheimer's for years. Belkis is an only child and will miss her mom very much. Some of us have had to deal with this situation, parental loss, which is very difficult for us as their children. In Belkis' case, she is the only one.
