Hi, my name is Sharon. I am a mother of three boys and two days ago three amazing and beautiful grandchildren. Last night my husband Tim and I received the most tragic phone call possible. My oldest son Brandon saying that his only son and our only grandson had passed. Kylo was a happy 9 month old baby. Just beginning to crawl and had 5 teeth coming in. Kylo had gone down for the night at his usual bedtime. His dad checked in on him 30 minutes later and Kylo was sleeping like any 9 month old. An hour later his mom Kat came home from work and Kylo was on his stomach and not breathing. His lips blue. Frantic, they called 911 but it was too late, Kylo was already gone. The worst nightmare for any parent and grandparent. Now we have come together as a family to deal with the immense grief together. SIDS as the cause and we are all asking why? Why him? Kat works as a waitress hard and varied shifts. Brandon was about to start a new job but neither with the life insurance for their children that as a 27 years you don’t realize the importance of. Now they and we are struggling to give Kylo the proper burial that you never what to have to deal with as a parent. As Brandon said “Kylo should have been burying me when he was 60”. I am reaching out to help them give their son, our grandson a proper burial. Proper funeral arrangement. Something no mom wants to have to do for their child.
