As many of you know, our sister Keisha died of a sudden heart attack Tuesday, February 21, 2023, at the young age of 26. She was a caring person with a bubbly personality who lived her life to the fullest. Keisha worked professionally as an IT recruiter during the day and spent many nights working at a shelter for women experiencing homelessness and domestic abuse. She comes from a family of public servants - I'm Pierce, a city planner, our mom Octavia and sister Sapphire are education professionals, and our brother Davontae is a police officer. As we are beginning to plan funeral arrangements to say goodbye to Keisha in Milwaukee, estimates for burial and funeral costs will be steeper than imagined. So, we are leaning on our extended family and friends to help offset the costs. Our family would greatly appreciate any contribution you can make to assist with this unexpected financial burden.
