Funeral Costs for Joseph Picanso

It breaks my heart to have to say that last week Joseph Picanso lost his long fought health battles, and sadly passed away at his home in Wilmington MA. His life was cut far too short at just 34 years old. Joey had struggled since the passing of his mother Mary Picanso 5 years ago from cancer. We are all devistated he will never have the chance to turn his life around and live the full happy life that he so deserved.

Our family and his friends are suffering the loss a kind, gentle, and caring soul. Joey was a son, a brother to his three sisters, an uncle to his neices & nephews, the nephew of his loving aunts & uncles, a grandson, and he was my cousin. He loved Pitbulls, raised several pups and was active in the weight pulling circuit and APBT dog shows. Joseph touched all of our lives in special ways, he was known as the "favorite" to all the aunts & uncles among us cousins, he always had nothing but kind words when he spoke to you or about others and genuinely cared for his loved ones, friend, and family. 

When Joey and I were kids, Joey saved me while being naively lured away into the woods by a stranger. If it weren't for Joey fiercely protecting me and looking out for his little cousin, I'm sure I would not be here today. I will always be grateful for that, and I'm hoping I can repay him in some small way by making sure he has a proper memorial that he so deserves, and that we can care for his loved ones like he cared for us. 

Joey's passing was sadly very premature and unexpected. His surviving parent, his father, has been battling MS and the health complications for years. None of us are in a financial position to be able to provide him the services and memorial he so deserves. Any and all donations would be appreciated, and any above and beyond will be given to his father, whom he lived with, to help him with this transition.
