Funeral Costs for George Panagi

George unexpectedly passed away on April 16th in the early hours of the morning. He was a much loved husband, father, brother, uncle and grandfather as well as a beloved member of the community. The outpouring of condolences have been overwhelming, and it is clear that George was loved and respected by many.

There is no denying that George has experienced several life changing moments with his health. He was involved in a motorbike accident that left him fighting for his life. Several years later, he had to undergo heart surgery that very nearly cost him his life again. Despite these challenges, George lived his life to the full—for his family.

George’s family was his world. He had a work ethic that was second to none. He prided himself on this because he knew it was the only way to provide his family with memories. He wanted his children to look back and remember their time together. These will be precious memories in the years to come.

It would also be impossible to post this without taking the time to mention his wife, Ali. George and Ali are very much a pair. You could not ask for a better partner in life—in love and friendship. Our hearts break for the path she now walks without George, and while we cannot change that, we can help to lessen the financial burdens.

Due to George’s pre-existing medical conditions because of his accidents, he was unable to obtain life insurance. The average cost of a funeral is approximately £5000. We want to help cover these costs as well as support the family in this difficult time moving forward.
