As the matriarch, my mom was the glue that held us together. She was the definition of selfless, often times sacrificing her happiness to ensure our happiness. By no means was my mom perfect, but she always did the best she could--actually more than the best. She was tough, but it was always out of love. The strength that so many of you see in me is what she built in me. By the grace of God, I was given a mother full resilience, strength and perseverance. Very few of you know her let alone had the chance to meet her but, before she passed she became our sister in Christ. Now I and my family have the enormous task of laying my mother to rest, but we lay her knowing that God was faithful and knowing that she’s at peace. Although, I’ve managed to do what I can with the help of my family, there’s still a financial gap that we need help with for final arrangements of the funeral. Please help me lay my mother, your sister in Christ to rest.
