Kevin shared it better than I can. Here was his facebook post this week.
"March 25, 2019 will be a day forever etched into Becky and I’s hearts. Our little boy, Shepherd Elias Demos, was set to make his introduction in just a few short weeks (April 13). We planned, prepped, and grew so excited to meet our boy. BUT during a check up at a doctor’s visit we discovered our precious baby that we were so thrilled to welcome into our arms no longer had a heartbeat. Devastated being an understatement, Becky and I felt as if all of the air in that room was sucked out within seconds...From there, the day turned into a whirlwind, going to the hospital and having to deliver him a few short hours after receiving the dreadful news. We got to hold him, spend time with him and admire the beauty of him.
There have been and will be waves of emotions, confusion and uncertainly. We’ve never felt a hurt like this before and the tears have been a constant flow. We have felt the love from so many close friends and family. We know and believe that we will meet our sweet boy in heaven, which we find amazing comfort in. Becky and I’s perspective on life has changed drastically but we still hold firm to the promises of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Our bond with each other has grown deeper than we could’ve imagined and we pray that this addition to our testimony will bring many people to know of Jesus’ unconditional love and accept him as Savior.
We picked life verses for all of our children and this was Shepherd’s:
“shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock. And when the chief Shepherd appears, you will receive the unfading crown of glory.”
1 Peter 5:2-4

During this time of devastation in their lives, the last thing we want them to be worried about is finances. Becky and Kevin are having a visitation and funeral, and I would love to come up with as much of that $3,000-$3,500 that it will cost them. There's no way to alleviate the pain they're going through, but helping them carry the financial burden is something that will go a long way. Please consider donating! It will mean so much.
