funeral costs for Alina

Hello all,

We are saddened to have reached this stage where we are asking our communities to assist with funeral costs associated with the burial of our beloved sister, Alina Li. Alina was the light and joy of our lives, taken too soon from us at 24 years old. Despite living in a world that was not kind to her, as she was severely autistic, she encouraged all of us to live authentically and unapologetically. Alina was already immunocompromised, given that she was diagnosed with lupus in 2015. When she was hospitalized early this April for lymphoma, we were devastated but hopeful that she would prevail. Unfortunately, her already weakened immune system could not sustain the chemotherapy and she passed early morning Tuesday 4/18/2023 of an infection that destroyed all her vital organs. We are asking our communities for kindness, thoughts, prayers during this time of bereavement. If you are in a position to give, we welcome any contribution, big or small ,to her funeral services honoring her short lived time on earth. Thank you so much for your kindness.
