Funeral Costs- Eric McDermott

You were my first love (divorce didn’t end our love for one another…such a blessing), my husband for 19 years, and Father to our 3 amazing kids.

Your internal struggles finally won the battle for good. Unfortunately, I got the call yesterday afternoon that I had hoped would never come to fruition.

We will remember the good times, the laughter and joy. I hope you’re up there playing basketball with some of the greats and cracking jokes with Richard Pryor and most of, reconnecting with your Mom and big sister.

I’ve lost you twice in this lifetime. I’m grateful that you left this world peacefully. I hope you’re finally at peace, and damnit…this sucks. We wanted you to win and be here longer. So many of us were rallying for you.

I hope you now know how much you are and were loved….truly and deeply.
