Dear friends, family, and compassionate strangers,

I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times my family has ever faced. My name is Brittni, and I’m a mother of six beautiful children, a devoted wife, and now, heartbreakingly, a grieving daughter.

Recently, my beloved father passed away tragically and unexpectedly. His passing has left a painful hole in our hearts, and we are trying our best to navigate both the emotional and financial challenges that have followed. He lived in Texas, and it’s incredibly important to our family to travel there to honor his memory at his favorite fishing spot, gather with loved ones, and hold a proper memorial service to say our final goodbyes.

But we are struggling. With a household of eight to care for, finances are already stretched thin. On top of travel expenses, we’re facing urgent financial burdens directly related to my father’s passing. We had to take out a $4,000 loan to hire a probate attorney to handle his estate, and $1,000 was spent on his cremation — a necessity we could not delay. We’ve delayed this memorial as long as I could as well, to give us time to work as much as we can to afford what we are needing. These debts are weighing heavily on us, and we are in dire need of support to pay them back and to give my father a proper goodbye.
