Funeral costs and return of ashes to England
Donation protected
I am writing to you to let you know about the passing of my dad, PAUL CHRISTIE on the 6th February 2020. As I’m sure a lot of people don’t know, my father was a victim of homicide. We don’t know who the person was or the reason why they did what they did. He was found with a gunshot wound by the side of the road. There are no suspects and have been no arrests so it feels like there has been no justice for him. My family are devastated and shocked that his life ended in this way. He will be missed by so many people.
He was a good person and
achieved so much in his life. He travelled the world as a sound engineer to the stars and for TV, he was a musician and a dancer in his younger days. Music was his passion and he loved to play the piano for people. He was positive and outgoing and had friends all over the world. He moved from his native home in England to America where he stayed for many years and finally settled in Hawaii. I know most of all he loved his family and his friends more than anything, even though some of us didn’t get to see him as much as we would have liked! Growing up I was always a daddy’s girl and we were very close. Later on in his life he had my brother Kalaa who he absolutely adored. We were his heart and he was always proud of us no matter what.
When this happened I was completely unprepared financially and mentally. I had to have him cremated in Hawaii (I am in England). The funeral home has his ashes but I still need to pay for all of their services before I can get them sent home. They will keep his ashes until February 2021 but if I haven’t paid the full amount by then they will scatter his ashes in Hawaii. I really want his ashes to come home to his family.
Please would you consider helping me bring his ashes home by donating anything you can afford. I would be so grateful for your kindness and support in this matter. Bless you all and thank you.
Lots of love
