My dad Antonio Olaya passed away in New York City on April 4, 2020. He had lived in a nursing home in the Bronx for the last 15 years of his life. He touched many lives by his faith, great courage, and great love and care for his family and friends. As an immigrant from Colombia, he worked hard to provide for his family. When my mom passed away when I was 5 years old, my dad worked hard to care for his sons despite his advanced age.
