On June 12th our mom , Tracy Mahoney unexpectedly passed away at the age of 58. Tracy was such a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend . She leaves behind her loving husband of 43 years, our father Rich.

If you knew our Mom you may have known she had an undiagnosed disease and she took a very bad fall in 2013 leaving her unable to completely take care of herself. Our Dad took on the role of husband and caretaker up until her sudden death.

Mom sat on City Council in Garfield Heights for many years and had helped so many people during her time in office and continued to help others until the day she died. She made it a point to make people feel happy, safe, seen and loved. She was an amazing woman who would happily give you the shirt off of her back. You were truly blessed to call her a friend.

Our mom was dads' entire life. His love for her was absolutely beautiful to witness. As soon as he woke up in the morning he would take care of her and make sure she had everything she needed to get through the day while he was at work. He would take care of all the household chores and cook all of her favorite meals . He stuck by his vows "In sickness and in health" and cared for her every need.

We are asking for donations to help our dad pay for the cost of funeral and burial. Due to the unexpected timing of her death financial preparations were not yet in place. It is extremely difficult to ask for donations but we want to help our dad out as much as we can and hope that people would find it in their hearts to help as well.

We want to thank everybody in advance for any donations and sharing this in any way. It truly means the world to us.
