Funeral cost for the Beloved Flor Maldonado

This is the fundraiser I never Dreamed I would have to make as I am reaching out to you all with a heavy heart and a plea for help during one of the most challenging times my family and I have ever faced. My name is Maximo Reyes, and my beloved mother, Flor Maldonado, is currently in the final moments of her life. At the young age of 46, she leaves behind four children, one still in middle school and another in high school.

My mother was an extraordinary woman, always putting others before herself and going to great lengths to support her family. Unfortunately, she does not have life insurance, and as a result, my sister and I are now confronted with the daunting task of arranging a funeral, which comes with an estimated cost of $20,000.

Throughout the past month, my mother fought valiantly in the hospital, facing numerous health challenges ranging from leukemia to diabetes. Her battle has spanned several years, and each day proved to be a formidable struggle. Despite her unwavering determination, she eventually had to be intubated due to difficulties breathing on her own. Now, as she is under Hospice care, surrounded by family and friends during these final moments, my sister and I are left with the financial weight of laying our beloved mother to rest.
