Funeral Cost for Shannon Gerber

A sister, a bride to be, a daughter… this week my family experienced true hardship as my beautiful sister, Shannon, was suddenly taken from us. Shannon was so many things to so many people. Beside being a pillar within our family, she was an officer on the Doylestown Police Force, an outstanding member of the community through her work with The Village Network, and Chippewa School District’s resource officer. We all mourn her loss and miss her dearly.

This Go-Fund-Me has been established to provide friends, family, and loved ones with an opportunity to support the Gerber family during this extraordinarily difficult time. All proceeds will be put toward funeral expenses with any excess being donated to The Wayne County Children's Advocacy Center, in order to promote the health and wellness of children in Wayne county, something that Shannon was very passionate about.

Thank you so much for your thoughts and prayers. My family is forever grateful for all the love and support we’ve received this past week. Though the Gerber Girls have been forever changed, Hilary, Sheridan, Kaitlyn and I will each strive to follow in Shannon’s footsteps by being the best sisters, friends, and role-models we can be.
