Rodrigo, or as many of you know him by Rigo, was strong willed and strong hearted and unfortunately this past week he has moved on in his journey. Growing up, he was my familys protector. He looked out for anyone of us like his own, though I was his little cousin, he watched over and protected me as his own.

The concept of family was so so important to him, he always showed up and showed out for his family and if you've ever known Rigo, then you know how his loyalty ran deep. 

He was always so stoic, serious and prideful of our culture and who he was. He always wore his hair long and braided, so proud he was and will always be in our hearts and spirits for we will carry him with us until we see him again. 

We ask for any form of donations for his funeral expenses and so we can help his transition into the spirit world. His passing was completely unexpected for our family. We will be more than appreciative for anything given, and most importantly thank you all for even just taking the time out to read his story. We do plan on having a funeral and of course we will be following COVID safety guidelines. We will keep all of you updated.
