Funeral Cost for Richelle Garcia Mother of 11
Donation protected
On January 18, 2021 at 8:21 pm, my mother passed away from complications with her heart from issues from a sudden pancreatic infection causing diabetes and her blood sugar levels reaching dangerous levels. Leading up to this, her first visit on January 6, 2021, they diagnosed her as a new diabetic in which we thought was manageable and everything was going to be fine. She was then sent home with insulin pills, but still did not look like she was recovering, so we took her back a second time because her sugar levels were not lowering, the doctors then discovered an infection in her pancreas, which led to the diabetes and high blood sugar levels, she was prescribed antibiotics to help with the infection and sent home from being afraid of catching COVID-19 at the hospital, so we made sure to protect her, and was supposed to help her within a few days. Unfortunately she was still not getting better and her blood sugar levels kept spiking up to the 600s. She was fighting this for 2 weeks. We then took her back for insulin shots, and after one day she was ready to come back home. She was doing fine and her blood sugar levels were back to normal . She was then admitted to come home, we were all expecting her. She called my dad to pick her up and as my dad arrived he called her once he arrived letting her know he was outside for her, as the nurse prepped her to come out, when she turned back she seen my mom unconscious with no pulse. We waited and waited and then a doctor came out saying she was able to get a pulse but it was still early to say she was doing fine. After 14 min of trying to revive my mom. My 10 siblings and my dad were told the news that my mom had passed and they did all they could. We were devastated. My mom left us too early.
Richelle Garcia 10/19/1970 - 01/18/2021
-a daughter, sister, friend, wife , loving mother, and grandmother will always be remembered through her 11 children, 6 grandchildren and her husband of 20 years and 35 years together.
Any contributions would mean the world to our family going through these tough times. We never expected any of this to happen, it was so sudden. We all miss her deeply.
Any funds matter, no such thing as too little.
My mom meant the world to us, and we wanted to give her the world.
The funds will go to her funeral costs and to help the younger siblings. Everything happened so fast, we were waiting for her at home and now we will never have her physically at home but in our hearts. We were not prepared for this.
We will never forget our mother and all the things she has done for us as a family.
We are looking to have a funeral by mid February due to the high death toll in California. Her death was unrelated to COVID-19. We made sure to protect her. My mom did not have any major health issues except having her gallbladder being removed.
We will remember all the beautiful memories of my mother.
