Funeral cost for my brother Carlos in CDMX

Hey community, my name is Alex Aldana, Carlos's middle sibling.

On the morning of July 26th, around 1:00 pm, I received a distress call from my Mother, who took care of Carlos, who was currently suffering from complications of lung and kidney diseases in Mexico City for the past years. My Mother couldn't assist my brother further as he could not breathe from his oxygen tank while on our regular facetime. While I was helping my Mother and calming her down to call the ambulance, my brother passed unexpectedly.

As a refugee from Mexico, I cannot support my Mother in person as I'm forbidden to return to my home country. While fixing my immigration status, my Mother Laura made the courageous decision to leave the US to take care of his health; she took care of her son until the end. Carlos is a father of 3 beautiful children. He leaves behind my Mother and his family and many touched friendships that loved him.

He was a warrior until the end and loved his kids very much. Capitalism broke his heart as he couldn't recover after leaving the US.

My Mother, her family, and friends are kindly asking for your cooperation to help us cover funeral costs, travel arrangements to his hometown in Guadalajara, and making sure my mama Laura has a smooth transition. She has suffered greatly and would love your support and prayers as well.

I was able to hear his last words on Instagram. No one should watch their siblings die live due to inhumane immigration policies that prohibit our families from reuniting.
